TIME UNDER TENSION

Most people think that lifting heavier the “key” to getting toned & building muscle, unfortunately that’s not the case. Time under tension is a technique all our coaches use for helping you build the symmetrical physique you desire. TUT techniques aim to bring up the body parts you want to grow !. The reality is, you cannot build a booty with just squats, lunges & box jumps…. You need isolation & time under tension.

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT PATTERNS

Building a strong foundation comes down to CORE body strength. Functional movement patterns aim to do just that. Forget the days of crunches were talking one arm kettlebell snatches & everything function. It’s the combination of speed & power !

SUPERSETTING

Repetition, repetition & more repetition of the same movements is dangerous and BORING. This is where supersetting comes in. We combine alternating/opposing muscle groups & movements in your sessions which allows your workout to “flow”. Additionally ,supersetting involves little to no rest in between sets, which basically means it’s like bodybuilding on steroids. Is that even possible ?

METABOLIC CONDITIONING

Our job is to make your process easier especially from a nutritional standpoint. Low calorie dieting is NOT on the agenda here at ambition. You may ask how & why ? Metabolic conditionings sole purpose is to have you burning calories even during netflix & chill. Its to increase your resting metabolic rate through next level intensity. Were going to keep it real, MET-CON is brutally awesome.

ACTIVE RECOVERY

Your time working with us is precious therefore we aim to make it as effective & interactive as possible. Active recovery includes the implementation of boxing, body weight & tabata based cardio in between working sets so that you leave gobsmacked & satisfied with each and every minute you spend on our facility. Rest…. What’s that ? we call it active recovery !

PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD

Without getting technical progressive overload simply means progress. Progress that’s based on performance. This principle involves continually increasing the demands on the musculoskeletal system to continually build muscle size, strength, and endurance. Your training here at Ambition is never the same, your training evolves around your progress. Variety and taking a step forward every week is key. The reason why we say every week is because we’re all human, we have our bad days.  However, our coaches are here to ensure those “bad days” are turned into learning days & productive weeks.
